We don't really have the faith

I know this is a big one. This is the one we deny the most, but this is one I am having a lot of issues with. After all, how can we expect someone else to buy it, if we don't.

This is what I really want you to consider. In my life, there hasn't been a shortage of walls in my way. Let's face it, we aren't what we want everyone to think we are. I have been through bullies, health issues, and brothers who have had a lot of problems finding there way. The question to me was never is there a god, or is he my God. It was, why does he let this happen?

I wish I could tell you the answer to this question, but the truth is God only knows. As strong as I try to be, I admit that sometimes I wish I was half the woman of faith my friends thought I was. When problems come, instead of prayers, all that comes natrally is tears.

We're all playing "The Game"

In my group of friends, we play what we call, "The Game," which I just lost. "The Game" is something made up a while ago. The object of "The Game" is not to think about the game. Once you think about "The Game," you lose. You never stop playing "The Game," but you can only lose once ever hour. That means, the only way to win the game is not to know it exist.

This is what we do with the problems in our lives. We say if we don't think about them, they just go away. THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN. They just get worst. If we do not watch we can do this for so long, our world revolves around not facing our problems. That doesn't sound like a fun lifestyle to live, does it?

The bible says to give our problems to him. Once, we've given our problems to him, he can tell us how to take care of them, and it will be better because it is HIS way. Then, we can live in his will and reach people for him.

Theory #1: We're all lazy!

I know, I do not want to think about it either, but it's true. It is a part of human nature. If you think about it, technology circles around human convenience. We have technology in America to squeeze your toothpaste for you. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Other people in the world have to walk for miles to get water, and we are too lazy to squeeze tooth paste.

I think we do that with faith too. People rarely come to you to get saved. The bible tells us in Mathew 28:19-20 to GO!

I'm not going to lie to you. I am guilty too. The main issue is I am NOT good with words. I do not want to try to be. I don't pay attention enough to get good at words.

Where I live, no one dcan legally stop us from showing our faith, unless I interfere with someone else's. In other countries, they have to work harder to show it. I am ashamed to say we show our faith.

Why?

I started this blog because just like most good little Christian kids, I read my bible, went to church, and sang the same songs as everyone else, but as I went to school, it felt like the power behind my faith was gone. I've known in my heart it was not gone, but that's not what I've been acting like. Today, I want to ask my self and other Christians, "Why?"

If you are not a christian and reading this blog, I would like to tell you I AM SO SORRY. :( I am sorry that people walk past you in stores, and the halls at work and school, and don't show you the one thing that SHOULD make us difference. That is the peace whe have when we know we can rely on God.

I want this blog to involve everyone, Christian or not. I did not start this blog to point fingers at people who do not live it up. I am just as guilty. I started this blog to ask you what you think.
I am sharing my blog to let you know my theories behind why it seams like faith isn't working. I am not trying to make you believe my theories, because I'm not sure they are all right. Feel free to give me your honest oppinion on my theories, and give me your theories. Don't worry about how it sounds just give me your honesty.
